Sauna-store.com Terms of Services are in effect from 26.8.2020

1. Placing an order doesn't require registering

  • 1.1. When ordering, customer is required to:
  • 1.1.a. Inform name and other mandatory information for the purpose of choosing a delivery- and payment method in the Sauna-store.com checkout.
  • 1.1.b. Give approval to Sauna-store.com to register personal info to the customer register. Sauna-store.com customer info is confidential. Sauna-store.com is committed to not hand out customer data, other than to the business partners within the company group.

2. Consumer should practice attentiveness and carefulness when using the online store

Before confirming the order in the checkout, please make sure you have chosen the right items and quantities to your shopping cart. Pay attention to the address details and the delivery- and payment methods you have chosen.

3. Binding of an order

  • 3.1. Communication between parties is done either by email, mail or phone (+358 45 135 6082). After placing an order, consumer is committed to keeping an eye for email confirmation.
  • 3.2. Binding contract of sale comes into effect after Sauna-store.com has sent the confirmation email to the email address customer has provided.
  • 3.3. Consumer has a right to cancel the order or parts of it by email, mail or phone before the order has been processed.
  • 3.4. Sauna-store.com doesn't have a right to change the terms after consumer has placed an order.

4. Prices

  • 4.1. Valid price is the one listed in the Sauna-store.com price list, web address www.sauna-store.com. Valid price is announced in euros (EUR). Sauna-store.com reserves the right to changes in prices.
  • 4.2. Delivery costs are added to the order. Depending on the size of the order, Sauna-store.com charges delivery costs starting from 1,99 € - 14,99 €. It is possible to choose a delivery method with a different cost. Delivery method descriptions and price differences are specified in the product site and in the checkout.

5. Delivery

  • 5.1. If we have the item in our stock, estimated time of delivery is from one to two (1-2) working days.
  • 5.2. If it is necessary to receive the item before certain date, you have to specifically mention this, for example, when placing the order. In regard of the delivery, Sauna-store.com tries to serve according to consumers needs, if it is reasonably possible.
  • 5.3. If consumer buys products that Sauna-store.com has given different delivery times, order is delivered according to the longest delivery time announced.
  • 5.4. All Sauna-store.com deliveries are done via Posti.

6. Terms of payment

All payments through our online store, apart from PayPal and Klarna Payments, are processed safely and quickly by Paytrail Oyj. Paytrail is part of Nets-family. Nets is the leading provider in Nordic Countries for payment processing, information service and digital security solutions.

You get to choose the payment method after filling up your info in the checkout and moving to payment page.

Online bank payment

Executor and provider of the payment service is Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) in collaboration with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Bank statements states Paytrail Oyj as the receiver and directs the payment to the merchant. Paytrail Oyj has a licence of a payment institution. All the Finnish banks are available as a payment method. You can use Nordea, Osuuspankki, Säästöpankki, Pop-pankki, Danske Bank, Aktia, Handelsbanken, S-pankki, Ålandsbanken, Oma Säästöpankki. Bank statement states Paytrail Oyj as the receiver.

Credit card payment

You can pay via Paytrail using Visa-, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. Paying with a credit card is done safely with Nets' SSL-secured payment form. We or Paytrail Oyj don't have access to the card information and the information will not be saved in our systems. Our online store uses international Verified by Visa- and MasterCard SecureCode authentication services, so in addition to a credit card, you need online banking IDs.

Mobile payment

Mobilepay and Siirto are app services that you can use to pay online purchases as a bank transfer from the bank account or as a card payment. The payment is accepted in the app.

Klarna bill or partial payment

Together with Klarna Bank AB (head office address Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden.) we offer following payment methods, in which the payment is sent directly to Klarna:

  • Bill: payment period is 30 days counting from receiving the products. Klarna-bill terms can be found here.
  • Part payment: in the checkout, you can choose from different monthly part payment options. Monthly payments decrease as the whole credit sum decreases.
  • Campaign bill: if you are offered an option for extended period of payment of 1-3 months against starting payment (for example, "Buy now, pay in february"), you can pay for the purchases accordingly to the campaign bill terms.

You can pay without bank IDs using Paypal. Paypal acts as a middleman either between your credit card or bank account and our online store and charges the sum from your card or bank account. The service accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Using Paypal doesn't bring you any additional costs.

Gift cards

Have you received a gift card to our online store? Great! Insert the code of the gift card to the campaing code field in the shopping cart or at the latest in the checkout. You can use discount code and gift card for the same order - just place them separately on the same field. If the balance of the gift card is greater than the final price of your order, you can use the remaining balance for your next order. Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the day it was issued. Unfortunately, gift cards don't have return or change options.

7. Returns

  • 7.1. Consumer has a right to return unused products during the period of fourteen (14) days, counting from the day the product/products was/were received. The product and the package has to be generally in same condition as it was when received. If the product was brought into use and it caused devaluation, we will charge a sum equivalent to the devaluation.
  • 7.2. Consumer is expected to file a notification of return by email to info@sauna-store.com before returning the product. All returns are processed via Posti. We won't accept returns sent in other methods. Returns are shipped to Sauna-store.com, Vanttausjärventie 7, 97625 Vanttauskoski. We will charge delivery- and return costs. Return costs are based on actual costs. Therefore they may be significantly higher than the delivery costs charged from an order.

8. Products damaged during delivery

  • Sometimes it's possible that, despite thorough packaging, the product may be damaged during the delivery. Therefore it is wise to inspect the condition of the package when you are collecting it. If the package is damaged during delivery and the product/products are also damaged, immediately file a damage notification to Posti. After that, contact our customer service to set the details for delivering a new product.

9. Reclamation

  • 9.1. If the customer has received a wrong, damaged etc. product, costumer is required to notify Sauna-store.com in a reasonable timeframe, either by email info@sauna-store.com or mail Sauna-store.com, Vanttausjärventie 7, 97625 Vanttauskoski. Incorrect product will be returned without a cost according to the instructions by Sauna-store.com (section 7). Return takes places after filing a reclamation. After receiving the returned product, Sauna-store.com will promptly refund the possibly already paid selling price.

10. Force majeure

  • 10.1. Sauna-store.com is not responsible if the delivery of the order is hindered or delayed due to reasons outside of Sauna-store.com influence, for example war, natural disaster, prohibition of exportation or importation, decision by an authority, traffic interruption or something similar that complicates or hinders Sauna-store.com actions.

11. Settlement of disputes

  • 11.1. Disputes caused by this distance sales agreement are governed by the law of Finland and disputes will be handled in District Court of Lapland.

The shop sells products to private persons of legal age. Prices of the products include Finnish VAT unless you choose delivery country that is outside of European union. We reserve the rights to changes in prices or delivery costs.


Products are ordered by placing them into the shopping cart and going through the online checkout. All customer information is handled confidentially. Contact information requested when placing an order will not be used to anything other than delivering the order or any issues regarding to the order, unless stated otherwise. When placing an order to the store, You agree to the Terms and Services.

    Order and Payment Verification

    After we have received your order, we will immediately send you an order confirmation by email. This will include all the details of your order. Always review the content of the order confirmation. Save the the order confirmation in case you need to contact the customer service. When contacting customer service, keep your customer number and order number available. Inspect the content of the package of your order that is matches the order confirmation.

    Delivery Methods and Costs

    Delivery costs include mailing- and packing costs. We will present an estimate of the delivery cost based on the primary shipping method. Detailed delivery costs are presented after you have chosen payment- and shipping methods. Shipping methods available depend on the content of your shopping cart. You can choose the most suitable shipping method in the checkout, where the precise shipping cost is presented.

    Delivery Time

    Common delivery times to Finland vary between 1-3 working days, depending on the order and shipping method. If you are ordering outside of Finland, you can see the delivery time estimate in the checkout after choosing a country, attached to the available shipping methods.

    Example 1:

    Under all the items in your shopping cart is a text "In stock". In this case your delivery will be shipped in the same day, if the order is places before 3 p.m. The order will reach the postal service haul if the order is placed before 1 p.m.

    Example 2:

    There are items in your cart that are "In stock", but there are also items that have longer delivery times. For example, there might be info "will be shipped in 2-3 days". In this case, the product is arriving to our stock according to the estimate or we will order it immediately from the supplier after we receive your order. Estimate "will be shipped in 2-3 days" is an estimate of the delivery time from the supplier to us.

    Your order will be shipped immediately after the items missing from our stock have arrived to us. If there is deviation from the estimate, we will always notify you by email.

    In some cases, the process may be following: the items that we have in stock will be shipped immediately and items out of stock will be shipped afterwards.

    Example 3:

    You are ordering an item that has info "will be shipped in 1-2 days". In these cases the product is arriving to our stock in 1-2 days or alternatively the item can be delivered from the supplier's stock. In this case your order will usually be shipped in the same day, but we use estimate "will be shipped in 1-2 days" for good measure.

    Note! We are not responsible for delays caused by unseen obstacles or harms caused by delays. We will notify about exceptional situations or inconveniences in our online store website.

    Return Policy

    Right of withdrawal

    You have the right to cancel this agreement within 30 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends within 30 days starting from the day you received the last shipment, or in the case of downloadable products, from the moment you received the order. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to cancel the agreement in an unambiguous way (for example, by mail or by email). You can also use our printable return form, but its use is not mandatory. To comply with the deadline for withdrawal, it is sufficient that you submit your notice of cancellation before the end of the withdrawal period.

    Effects of withdrawal

    If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 30 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. You must return the goods without delay and no later than 30 days after informing us about your decision to withdraw from the contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 30 days has expired. You are only responsible for the kind of value decrease of the goods that did not result from treatment that is required for determining the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.

    Unclaimed Package

    Unclaimed package is not the same thing as return or cancelling. We will charge delivery costs for an unclaimed package, if the notice of cancellation is not sent to us.

    Problematic situations

    If the product is missing or it was damaged during the delivery or it otherwise doesn't match your order, you must inform us before a 14-day period has expired. You can do in it writing by sending a notice to the address mentioned in Return rights & Return implications or by calling the phonenumber mentioned in contact info. If the package is clearly damaged during delivery, you must immediately file a complaint to the transport company of your chosen delivery method.
