Benches & stools for sauna and bathroom
Finnish people have been sauna bathing for thousands of years. The sauna has served as a place for bathing, relaxing and a stage for significant life events: in the dim light of the smoke sauna, people have been born, meats have been smoked, laundry washed, the sick treated and beer brewed. It has been a versatile everyday space.
To meet various needs, it was important to bring loose furniture into the sauna in addition to the fixed benches; long benches along the walls and stools where people could sit during backwashing or to cool down.
Even in the present day, sauna benches serve multiple purposes: there are sauna step stools that help in climbing onto the sauna benches and for bathrooms, benches are used for people to sit and bathe. Additionally, you can place stools and benches outside the sauna for cooling off.
There are also reclining chairs available that can be placed on top of the fixed sauna seats. The backrest angle can be adjusted to make sure you can lie down on the chair in your favourite angle.
Placement of sauna benches and stools
In the sauna, a step stool is placed next to the fixed sauna benches, making it easy to climb onto them. Step stool is also often preferred by children because the steam is milder at a lower level. In a large sauna, benches can be added along the walls. If your sauna and bathroom are smaller but you still want additional seating space, a sauna foot stool can be a solution as it doesn’t take up much space.
In a bathroom, a bench gives you an option to sit down, relax and cool off. They can also be helpful in bathing purposes.
Benches and stools placed in dressing rooms are useful for undressing before entering the sauna. They can serve as temporary storage space for clothes and other items too.
One of the best parts of sauna bathing is being able to step out onto a terrace or patio to cool down and admire nature. Comfortable benches outside the sauna make sure you fully relax.
The most important aspect of placing sauna benches and stools is making sure they do not obstruct pathways. In a dimly lit sauna, keeping pathways clear is important for safety and ease of movement.
Traditional materials meet modern design
Wood has been the primary material in saunas and sauna benches historically and continues to be so today. Why change something that works?
Wood, such as pine or alder, are timeless materials known for their resistance to heat and moisture. They don’t crack or warp due to temperature fluctuations and they are naturally resistant to moisture. Most products are made of alder and some are heat-treated while some are ready for surface treatments.
Maintenance and care
Wipe down the benches and stool with damp cloth after use. You can also rinse them, but don’t soak them with excess water. Ensure proper ventilation to allow sauna benches and stools to air dry effectively after use. Using a sauna seat cover is also recommended as it absorbs sweat and dirt, keeping the bench cleaner and hygienic.
Surface treatments can also be used. Applying protective oils or finishes nourishes the wood and keeps them in good shape. These treatments can also bring out the rich color and the unique grain patterns of the wood.

Delivery Methods and Costs
Delivery costs include mailing- and packing costs. We will present an estimate of the delivery cost based on the primary shipping method. Detailed delivery costs are presented after you have chosen payment- and shipping methods. Shipping methods available depend on the content of your shopping cart. You can choose the most suitable shipping method in the checkout, where the precise shipping cost is presented.
Delivery Time
Common delivery times to Finland vary between 1-3 working days, depending on the order and shipping method. If you are ordering outside of Finland, you can see the delivery time estimate in the checkout after choosing a country, attached to the available shipping methods.
Example 1:
Under all the items in your shopping cart is a text "In stock". In this case your delivery will be shipped in the same day, if the order is places before 3 p.m. The order will reach the postal service haul if the order is placed before 1 p.m.
Example 2:
There are items in your cart that are "In stock", but there are also items that have longer delivery times. For example, there might be info "will be shipped in 2-3 days". In this case, the product is arriving to our stock according to the estimate or we will order it immediately from the supplier after we receive your order. Estimate "will be shipped in 2-3 days" is an estimate of the delivery time from the supplier to us.
Your order will be shipped immediately after the items missing from our stock have arrived to us. If there is deviation from the estimate, we will always notify you by email.
In some cases, the process may be following: the items that we have in stock will be shipped immediately and items out of stock will be shipped afterwards.
Example 3:
You are ordering an item that has info "will be shipped in 1-2 days". In these cases the product is arriving to our stock in 1-2 days or alternatively the item can be delivered from the supplier's stock. In this case your order will usually be shipped in the same day, but we use estimate "will be shipped in 1-2 days" for good measure.

Note! We are not responsible for delays caused by unseen obstacles or harms caused by delays. We will notify about exceptional situations or inconveniences in our online store website.
Return Policy
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to cancel this agreement within 30 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends within 30 days starting from the day you received the last shipment, or in the case of downloadable products, from the moment you received the order. In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to cancel the agreement in an unambiguous way (for example, by mail or by email). You can also use our printable return form, but its use is not mandatory. To comply with the deadline for withdrawal, it is sufficient that you submit your notice of cancellation before the end of the withdrawal period.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 30 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. You must return the goods without delay and no later than 30 days after informing us about your decision to withdraw from the contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 30 days has expired. You are only responsible for the kind of value decrease of the goods that did not result from treatment that is required for determining the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.
Unclaimed Package
Unclaimed package is not the same thing as return or cancelling. We will charge delivery costs for an unclaimed package, if the notice of cancellation is not sent to us.
Problematic situations
If the product is missing or it was damaged during the delivery or it otherwise doesn't match your order, you must inform us before a 14-day period has expired. You can do in it writing by sending a notice to the address mentioned in Return rights & Return implications or by calling the phonenumber mentioned in contact info. If the package is clearly damaged during delivery, you must immediately file a complaint to the transport company of your chosen delivery method.
